A while back, we mentioned UNIQLO, the popular Japanese retailer, heading to the U.S.  Its marketing methods have people dubbed it “the Japanese Gap”.  Recently, UNIQLO opened a “temporary” flagship store in SOHO, New York.  The retailer, which is a play on the words UNIQue + cLOthes, focused on simple designs, premium materials and qualities, at a very affordable price.  Where else can you get a cashmere sweater for under $70?  It is definitely a place to check out to fulfill your holiday gifts list.
