PUMA Clyde - Made In Japan

Unlike elsewhere in the world, the popularity of PUMA’s signature classic, the PUMA Clyde, never gone through the ebb and flow of fashion trends here in Japan. Instead, it was the “go to shoe” in everyone’s wardrobes, where its timeless design made it a perfect complement to any scenario. All the more fitting why PUMA launched a special version of the Clyde for the Japanese market.
Nothing looks different on mere appearance, but upon a closer look, the PUMA Clyde Made In Japan is really a different sneaker all together, with specifications made for the Japanese market.
Few differences include:
- Sole - The sole on the Japanese Clyde has a much higher lift at the toe.
- FOT or Rear Tab - The collar is shorter and broader then the current Clyde. It also does not have the PUMA logo.
- Form Stripe - Slightly different in shape.
- Insole - Original insole with Japanese factory markings and sizes.
Although originally available only in Japan, Puma Clyde Made in Japan models can also be found at select Puma accounts around the United States.

Mishka x Andrew W.K. - Andrew WK Mop T-Shirt

When hard rocker Andrew W.K. is mentioned, it usually comes to his 2001 album, I Get Wet (as well as the official song for Jackass: The Movie) . Who could forget the cover art of the album – a photo of blood gushing from Andrew’s nose. Taking the image as inspiration, the folks at Mishka created the Andrew WK Mop T-Shirt, an amalgamation of Andrew W.K.’s signature likeness with Mishka’s trademarked Mop character. The collaborative t-shirt is available exclusively through Mishka’s online store.

Nike - Air Force 1 - All Star Game 2009 by DJ Clark Kent

While many of the exclusive and elusive Air Force 1s of late have been leaked early enough for us to really get a grasp on what we think of them, the 2009 NBA All Star Game Nike Air Force 1 edition has been somewhat of a mystery…until now. Due to the secrecy, it may come as no surprise that this Air Force 1 has been designed by none other than Brooklyn’s Finest: DJ Clark Kent.
To compliment the lucky city that the NBA has selected to host some of the most entertaining basketball of the NBA season (excluding the playoffs), DJ Clark Kent has styled this Air Force 1 with Phoenix Suns colors. The upper features purple patent leather on the back section while yellow accents can be found on the piping along the mid-panel as well as on the Swoosh and the hell tab. The rest of the upper is a clean white with a purple “09″ stitched on the outer, front side, to stand for this playoff’s year. It only gets better on the sole, which rocks an all orange mid-sole bottomed out with an icy, clear out-sole. This orange is mirrored on the fabric of the inner on the shoe. To finish off the sneakers, DJ Clark Kent brought in lace masters Starks to design the laces for this pair and even features Starks lace tips. Starks also designed the dubrae (lace lock) in an old english typeface which reads “East” on the right foot and “West” on the left foot, additionally, the insoles also say the same. This colorway is scheduled to be released during the All Star Game in Phoenix, taking place on February 15th . Thanks to our friends in the know.
